A moped accident just north of highway 40 in the 900 block of Hunt St Saturday night.

It happened around 10:30.

A passerby notified police of a person lying in a ditch next to his moped, not breathing and unresponsive

Police say they man has been identified as Robert B. Hoole of Terre Haute.

Hoole was unresponsive at first but he was revived and flown to an Indianapolis Hospital where he is currently recovering.

Police say that a blood test at the local hospital showed that Hoole had a blood alcohol content of .216%.
