An accident Friday strands a woman next to railroad tracks in southern Vigo County.

Vigo County Sheriff’s Deputies say that Brandi Edwards hit an icy patch of on Houseman Street near Springhill.

Her car slid into a ditch on its side next to train tracks.

Edwards was trapped in the car until emergency crews could free her.

She was taken to the hospital to be treated for leg and back pain.
