An early morning car semi accident sends two people to the hospital.

Police say that a semi hit a small car and shoved it up against a utility pole around 2:30 this morning near 3^rd and Chestnut.

One person was pinned in the car and had to be cut out.

The two people in the car suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The truck driver was not hurt.

Police continue to investigate.
