Some new business appears to be either coming to town or expanding.

Chick-Fil-A's has obtained a county building permit for a site on the north side of the Vigo County Fairgrounds.

Cheddars Casual Café appears to be planning a new sit-down restaurant near Sam’s Club on the city’s south side.

And, two new Dollar Generals will be opening.

One near 25th and Hulman and the other at 25^th and maple at the former Sheridan Park IGA.

No word on when any of those new stores plan to open.
