A Muncie woman who awoke to find an intruder hiding behind her Christmas tree was able to hold the man with a BB gun.

The woman told officers she heard a crashing sound in her home early Wednesday, and found a man hiding in the living room.

Armed with what police called a realistic-looking BB gun, the woman held the man at gunpoint until her son, who lives next door, called police.

32 year old Thomas Charles Miller, of Muncie, has a rather lengthy record and now faces another charge of burglary.
