One Direction fan stakeouts at the airport may get a whole lot tougher if reports are true that the group is going to get its own private jet for their upcoming tour.  According to the U.K. paper The Mirror , the group's new toy will be dubbed "Air Force One Direction," and sport their logo on the tail.  The plane is estimated to cost nearly five million bucks.

Whether or not the story is legit, it's believable.  After all, with 1D's crazy 2013 schedule, which will see them touring the world, a private jet makes sense.  Not only does it allow the guys to skip airport check-in lines and fan mobs, but a private jet will wait for any member who oversleeps or forgets their passport, like Harry Styles reportedly did while attempting to visit girlfriend Taylor Swift last month.

One Direction's 2013 tour gets underway February 23 in England; the North American tour kicks off June 13 in Florida.
