Roy Hibbert of the Indiana Pacers and David Lee of the Golden State Warriors are both suspended after an altercation during Tuesday nights game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The scuffle started after a missed shot under the basket. Hibbert and Lee were tangled up and started a skirmish that got out of hand and went into the crowd.
Both players were suspended for one game without pay for their role in the scuffle.
Hibbert will sit out Thursday’s game against the Clippers while Lee already set out in Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.
Three other players were fined in a result of their roles in the fight.
Lance Stephenson of the Pacers along with Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry were all three fined $35,000.
Roy Hibbert will make more than $13 million this season and has offered to pay Stephenson’s fine for quote “being a good teammate and having his back.”
