The Vigo County School Board last night approved emergency funding replace the lights on the Terre Haute North High School baseball field. Earlier in the month one of the wooden polls broke during a storm.
The replacements lights will be made of metal. Officials will replace all of the lights at all three high schools and since this is being called an “emergency”, the corporation will be able to bypass the competitive bid process.
Total cost was estimated to be in the $350,000 range.
