Rose-Hulman won the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship for the second year in a row on Saturday.
Rose-Hulman finished the season 24-3 and ranked No. 23 in the nation in NCAA Division III basketball.
The fighting Engineers earned their second straight NCAA Division III tournament berth for the first time since 1996-97.
Rose-Hulman came from behind against Hanover College. When down 50-47 with a little more than 7 minutes left to play the Engineers stuck with what they did best all season as their defense slowed down Hanover and the Engineers outscored the Panthers 17-9 in the last few minutes of the game.
Rose-Hulman won 64-59.
The Engineers will be informed who their first round opponent will be Monday afternoon.
