A group of retired Vigo County teachers is planning a gun buy back as their way of removing guns from our homes and neighborhoods. The Vigo County Retired Teachers Association approached the Terre Haute Police Department to see if officers could help them with a gun buy back program The League of Women voters and First Financial Bank pledged to work alongside the Retired Teachers Association. Terre Haute Police says their working with City Legal before announcing definite plans for a gun buy back.
