The number of flu-related deaths in Indiana is up again.

In total 56 people have died in Indiana due to flu according to the Indiana State Department of Health.

People at the greatest risk of complications from the influenza virus are pregnant women, young children, the elderly and anyone with a compromised immune system.

Health officials said there are a few months of flu season remaining.
