Plans in the works to try to make 1^st street a little nicer.

The city would remove the railroad tracks that divide the street. 

Then the city would landscape the middle section turning it into a boulevard.

Crews won't be able to start work until CSX abandons the tracks north of Park Street and that cold take the rest of the year.

The project should cost under $1 million and could come from grants or local funds.
