If you think we spend a lot of time in traffic here in Terre Haute, just be glad that you don’t live in Indianapolis.
A new study shows that commuters in the capitol city spend an average of 41 hours or one work week in freeway delays during rush hour each year.
Indianapolis is the nation’s 12th largest city and it ranked No. 23 in delay time per commuter during peak travel periods.
The worst urban area for delays is Washington, D.C., at 67 hours a year.
