Sunday morning just before 9 AM Indiana State Police Troopers and Vigo County emergency agencies responded to an overturned tractor-trailer on Interstate 70 near the 2 mile marker.

The crash was just east of the entrance to the Clear Creek Rest Area. Police say that 69 year old Larry Larson, of Scandia, Kansas may have fallen asleep at the wheel and went off the road after hitting and destroying nearly 100 feet of guardrail before overturning onto the passenger side in a wooded area

The truck was loaded with 20,000 lbs of dry insulation. Larson was not injured and no tickets were issued.
