A Terre Haute man has some legal problems after he allegedly tried to enter a neighbor’s house while armed with household knives. Earlier this week Terre Haute Police responded to a call for help at a home in the 3400 block of South Center Street. They arrested 57 year old Brent Allen for allegedly trying to break into the home.

The woman at the house said that Allen tried to enter and was asking her where some people had gone.

When officers arrived they said that Allen was walking away from the home, carrying a knife in each hand. Allen is being held on a $5,000 cash only for residential entry charges and will likely be back in court next week.
