A Terre Haute man accused of beating in in-laws in their Pimento home in southern Vigo County at least 12 years in prison.

Police arrested Brian Hiatt for beating his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Linda and Albert Liberty in 2009.

Hiatt was given a 14 year sentence, with 12 of those years to be spent in prison and two years to be suspended and spent on probation.

Hiatt also received credit for more than 1,000 days already served in jail.
