Following news of Beyonce 's deal with Pepsi and Taylor Swift 's deal with Diet Coke, Justin Timberlake is getting into the mix: he's the new face of Bud Light Platinum.
As part of the deal, Justin will both star in ads for the beer and serve as a "creative and musical curator" for the brand. His first commercial for the beverage will run during this Sunday's Grammy Awards: dubbed "Platinum Night," the spot will feature JT's new single "Suit & Tie."
In a statement, Justin said, "Bud Light Platinum brings a refined, discerning aesthetic to beer that plays well with what I'm doing," adding, "I'm looking forward to not only being a part of the creative process, but in bringing other talented musicians to the forefront as well."
Another reason JT is the perfect fit for Bud Light Platinum: he's already in the booze business. He launched his own tequila brand, 901 Silver, back in 2011. And this won't even be the first company he'll be working with in a creative role: he's done that at Callaway Golf since 2011.
