Two people were arrested in Clay County on charges connected to a meth lab bust carried out by multiple law enforcement officers Monday.

A tip of a strange odor led police to a mobile home in west central Clay County. 

Police arrested 34 year old Jerry Wells Jr., of Terre Haute and 29 year old Malena F Shumaker of Brazil.

Police found a couple of meth labs in the home along with several items associated with making and using meth.

Wells and Shumaker now face several drug charges.
