Some good news when it comes to the flu here in Indiana.
Even though 43 people have died due to the flu here in the state, at least that number did not go any higher last week.
The Indiana State Department of Health while reports of influenza-like illnesses remain high nationwide, federal officials says flu cases appear to be falling in the Midwest and other areas.
Most of Indiana's flu deaths have been among people ages 65 and older with other medical conditions such as heart disease and diabetes.
