Indiana State Police, say that a mother and daughter in Monticello were stabbed to death over the weekend.

Police say that 20-year-old Scott Rodenbarger stabbed his mother 41-year-old Michelle Haskins and his 7-year-old half-sister Jillian Haskins early Saturday morning.

All three lived in the same home.

The mother was able to call 911 before she died.

I t is not known at this time why the attack happened.

Rodenbarger is in the White County Jail on murder charges.
