A Sullivan County man was sentenced to 55 years in prison for trying to kill two people in a Duggar bar last year.

36-year-old Timothy Kean admitted to shooting both Patrick Ruff and LeighAnn Lovelace in the head last March outside the Uptown Tavern.

Ruff is still in a wheelchair and has a hard time speaking.

Kean also shot at the truck of a passer-by, but that charge was dropped in the plea agreement.
