A man charged with being responsible for his friend’s death during a robbery has been sentenced.
Reginald Wood Jr. and John Gregory were trying to burglarize a mans home.
Both men were shot by the homeowner.
Gregory later died.
Under Indiana law you can be held responsible for a person’s death while committing a felony even if you didn’t pull the trigger.
Wood pleaded guilty to a burglary charge and has been sentenced to five years.
The time will be split between work release and home detention and then he will spend five years on probation plus 200 hours of community service.
