Indiana State University trustees are apparently pleased with the performance of university president Dan Bradley, because they have offered him an extension to his current contract.
His current deal will expire at the end of June 2016.
At this point Bradley is said to be receptive to an extension.
The trustees also approved charging employees an additional 5% for their health insurance.
The university’s board of trustees have also approved plans to renovate Dede Plaza, which was constructed in 1989.
Cost of the project is estimated at $1.5 million, with funding to come from private gifts and interest income.
Work should be completed by August.
