Friday night Vigo County sheriff’s deputies were called to an accident on Highway 40 in front of Rose-Hulman.
Police say that 24-year-old Whitney Clingerman of Tuscola, Illinois lost control and spun out and was hit by 32-year-old Amanda Kellams of Brazil.
Kellams car then hit two nearby parked cars and a house.
Not allot of damage was reported to the house but all of cars had to be towed.
Everyone was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Slick roads are believed to have been the cause.
A two vehicle accident occurred Saturday.
A Pontiac mini-van was heading west bound on US Highway 40 and lost control then spun out into the east bound lanes of traffic.
A Buick Century was traveling eastbound at the time and collided with the mini-van causing it to veer off of the south side of the highway. The mini-van struck two parked cars and came to rest against a house.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene while the house suffered minimal damage.
The driver and passenger of the mini-van were transported to Union Hospital in Terre Haute and treated for minor injuries.
Slick roads were a contributing factor.
