Snow has been falling over the Valley the past few days creating slick slushy roads.
A few weather related service calls have been made over the weekend and authorities say most of the calls were due to drivers traveling too fast for the slick road conditions.
Indiana State Police urge all drivers to use caution and reduce your speed to prevent an accident from occurring. Also, don’t tailgate other drivers, buckle up and use proper child restraints while out on the slick roads.
A few trouble spots throughout the Valley were Interstate 70 in Vigo and Clay Counties, and State Road 63 in southern Vermillion and northern Vigo counties.
