The Rose-Hulman Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams took to the road this past Saturday as they took on Transylvania in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play. The Women’s team fell to the defending champion Pioneers 85-42. Kristen Belyea was the only Engineer in double figures with 10 points. The loss drops Rose-Hulman to 1-5 overall and 0-1 in conference play and will be back in action on Wednesday when they host Anderson University.
Despite 26 points from Julian Strickland, the Rose-Hulman Men fell to Transylvania 62-59 inside the Beck Center on Saturday. Jimmy Miller also scored in double figures with 10 points in the losing effort. The Engineers fall to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the HCAC and will return to action when they travel to Millikin University this evening for a 8pm Tip-off.
