This Sunday, December 8th will mark the one year anniversary of the murder of 85-year-old Lowell R. Badger.
He was found on the bedroom floor of his rural Sullivan County home.
Badger died as the result of a gunshot wound suffered during a burglary.
Police say that the robber the man’s safe, and a Sony TV.
A reward of $38,000 has been established and available for person who can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction for those responsible for Badger’s death.
The safe is described as a light to medium dark gray, measuring 23 1/2 tall, 17” depth, and 17 “wide, in pristine condition and manufactured by John D. Brush and Company.
The TV is a black 46” Sony Bravia LCD television.
A picture of a similar safe is shown but authorities say that Badger’s was in pristine condition.
