The Indianapolis Indians were in Toledo on Thursday for the finale of a two-game series against the Mud Hens.
It was a tie game at 2-2 throughout and with solid pitching from both sides the contest was sent to extra innings.
In the 11th the Indians catcher Carlos Paulino drove in the game winning run in his Triple-A debut to give Indianapolis a 3-1 win over Toledo.
The Tribes pitching staff combined to punch out 18 batters in the contest, just two shy of the VIcotyr Field Era record.
Indianapolis will return to Victory Field tonight for game one of a two-game season finale against the Louisville Bats. The Indians final game of the season will be Saturday against the Bats at Victory Field.
