Even if stars can't actually manage to meet one another in person, they can still use Twitter to express their appreciation for one another's work. Take Kelly Clarkson , for example.
Just a few days after slamming some unnamed performers on the MTV VMAs as "pitchy strippers," Kelly took to Twitter again to praise Selena Gomez to the heavens. "Dear Selena Gomez, you are by far one of the most beautiful, sexy, classy things on this planet," she wrote, adding the hashtags "#GodDidGood" and "#TexasGirls." Selena, of course, retweeted Kelly's kind words.
Meanwhile, none other than Oscar-nominated actor Samuel L. Jackson took time out of being one of the coolest guys on the planet to jump on Twitter and praise Lady Gaga 's performance on the MTV Video Music Awards. "Lemme jus say, Lady Gaga set the bar pretty Muphugyn High w/ that opening @ The VMA's!!!," he tweeted on Sunday.
Then, in an attempt to re-establish his cred, he tweeted , "I'm totally watching Breaking Bad, jus needed that Gaga fix! She makes me smile!!"
A thrilled Gaga retweeted Jackson's first comment, and replied, "Thanks @ SamuelLJackson :) your tweet made me and my team really smile! We love u!"
