Lady Gaga will take the stage for the iTunes Festival in London this Sunday, and she's now shared, via rehearsal footage , why she's calling her performance "Swinefest."
In the footage, we see a soundstage, where a dark-haired Gaga is sitting at a keyboard singing one of her new songs from ARTPOP , called "Swine." "You're just a pig inside a human body," she sings. "Squeal, squeal, squeal, you're so disgusting/You're just a pig inside/Swine." Then things get a little nuts.
Drums and an electric guitar kick in, and the song, which was once a ballad, becomes a hard-rock tune. Gaga grabs a drumstick and starts flailing away on a drum kit next to her keyboard, while rocking back and forth like a madwoman. "ITunes Festival Sept. 1 #SWINEFEST" reads the caption.
Gaga has also posted a photo of herself posing with a guy in a mask that looks like a cross between a pig and a gas mask. It's captioned #GETREADYTOSQUEAL.
