The Indianapolis Indians took on the Columbus Clippers at Victory Field for game 2 of a 4-game series on Wednesday.
Indianapolis went down 1-0 in the second but made up for it in the 6th.
With the bases loaded in the bottom of the 6th Jerry Sands jacked one deep to center field driving in 3-runs.
The three-run double from Sands put the nail in the coffin.
Closing pitcher Duke Welker got the save striking out 2 in the 9th and the Tribe walked away with a 3-2 victory over the Clippers.
Indianapolis will host game three tonight at 7:05 pm.
