The Vermillion County Prosecutors office says that 28 warrants are being served today after a month long investigation.
The investigation was conducted by the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Department Drug Task Force and the Indiana State Police Drug Enforcement Section.
The charges now pending mostly involve the sale and distribution of methamphetamine, prescription drugs and other narcotics, including cocaine.
Today officers from the Terre Haute City Police Department also helped out because some of the warrants were served on Vigo County residents who allegedly sold drugs in Vermillion County.
The investigation is continuing and more charges could be filed.
