A follow up to a story from earlier this summer where clients of the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration released personal information on some clients.
Over 180,000 people potentially had everything from name, address, job, amount of benefits and social security numbers released.
After review by the FSSA, they have determined only 16 clients had their social security numbers shared. Another 48 clients had other types of information shared, but not their social security numbers. RCR Technologies Inc., the company responsible for the computer error that caused the breach, has agreed to pay for credit monitoring for those affected.
