At last night’s Area Plan meeting we learned of some intended new development on Terre Haute’s south side.
The owners of the Terre Haute Holiday Inn at US41 and I-70 are looking to add at least two new restaurants to the area.
The restaurants will likely include a steak house and a Panda Express.
There is also the possibly another hotel.
On top of all of this there are also plans to renovate the current Holiday Inn.
The land owner Jim Dora Jr. said in order to continue on as part of the Holiday Inn chain they have to update their building. The Area Planning Commission gave their approval last night but the Vigo County Council still has to sign off on the idea before anything can move forward.
