Illinois Governor Pat Quinn has thrown a new wrinkle in the concealed-carry debate.
The state has until June 8th to come up with a new concealed-carry law.
Quinn’s new plan would allow local governments and cities to decide for their selves if their residents can carry.
Quinn says he disagrees with the state being forced to make a new law, so he wants some limits.
Opponents are arguing that his new plan would allow Chicago to basically ban concealed weapons everywhere.
