An end to a lawsuit by the ACLU against the Vigo County Commissioners.
The suit was filed back in February claiming that the commissioners failed to properly redistrict the four county council districts as required by federal law.
Now a settlement has been reached.
The plan put forward declares that the population of the federal prison will not be counted in determining voting districts for county races.
That along with moving the boundaries of several precincts has balanced things out and the problem is over.
