The head of one state agency has resigned his position just months after he was re-appointed to it by Governor Mike Pence
Indiana Department of Administration Commissioner Robert Wynkoop has resigned accept a position at Purdue University, if the ethics commission gives the go-ahead.
IDOA handles lots of jobs including fleet management, the handling of state or federal surplus equipment, state contracts, real estate leasing and purchase, state travel and logistics.
Wynkoop was first appointed to the job by former Governor Mitch Daniels.
Meanwhile Indiana Department of Natural Resources Director Robert Carter may also leave his position to take a position with Ivy Tech Community College.
No word on what that position may be.
