A group of Greene County residents are working to fill a large need in their home town.
Last year, nine women came together to form a no-kill animal shelter called Safe Animal Rescue Inc. And now, their kennels are overflowing. They've re-homed over 120 dogs and accept any animals for foster care.
The group said the community's reaction has been fantastic and they couldn't do it without their help and donations but they could always use more help. For more information about the shelter and how you can help, head to their website .
