The Clay County Sheriff's Office and the Owen County Sheriff's Office have arrested two people that they believe are responsible for two armed robberies over the holiday weekend.
The first happened at Poland Hardware and Grocery on State Road 42.
Police say one man held up the clerk with a gun while a driver waited outside.
No one was injured.
The next robbery happened about an hour later at the Dollar General in Owen County.
With the help of tips and descriptions from those involved police were able to make two arrests in Indianapolis.
20 year old Michael Kelley, of Poland, and 21 year old Joseph Kuiper, Demont, were taken into custody and brought back to the Clay County jail where they are being held on $25,000 bond.
