Vincennes University and Toyota Motor Corporation of Indiana have signed an agreement that officials are predicting will become a national model for education and job training. The partnership is expected to help students, the company and the college. Vincennes University offers classes and degrees in robotics and advanced manufacturing, and those are the kinds of workers needed at their Princeton plant. V.U. and Toyota have signed a deal for a first of kind job training, education partnership that will help produce more of those needed technical workers. As part of the deal, Toyota is going to help do the recruiting at Indiana High Schools, and the students will be spend 2 days a week working at the plant and 3 days on campus taking classes. The first class will begin next fall.
