A Friday morning accident sends a West Terre Haute man to an Indianapolis hospital.

The Vigo County Sheriff’s Department says that the accident happened at U.S. 150 and Bolton Road.

Ryan Starbuck reportedly was south bound when he lost control, ran off the road and hit a tree.

Police say that Starbuck was not wearing a seat belt and suffered head injuries.

Emergency workers had to pry Starbuck from his car.

No word on his condition.
