A Terre Haute man is now officially charged with the murder of his estranged wife.
38 year old Enzert G. Lewis is facing several charges in connection with the death of Allyson Elmi-Lewis.
The woman’s body was found near the Vigo Clay County line along SR 42 back on November 3rd.
Vigo county Coroner Dr. Roland Kohr says that Allyson died of blunt force trauma to the head.
Vigo County Sheriff Greg Ewing said that a team of over twenty investigators from multiple agencies have been working the case.
Enzert Lewis is being held in the Vigo County Jail on No Bond and will make an initial court appearance later today.
