A man accused of shooting a Terre Haute motel manager pled guilty in court Monday.
Police say that eventually Joseph Sims was arrested on charges unrelated to the shooting of the manager at the Royal Inn on 3rd street.
Sims was later charged with Attempted Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.
Sims was sentenced to 30 years in prison, with credit for 376 days served in jail.
