A crowded court calendar and witnesses who also have legal trouble may mean a delay in a Vigo County trial.

42 year old Tony England is accused in a 2009 carjacking in Terre Haute and on gun charges stemming from a January incident. England’s trial was supposed to start on Dec. 10.

H e will face charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, residential entry and criminal recklessness.

The charges are related to a Jan. 7 incident at a house on Maple Avenue. The problem is that defendants in two other cases are scheduled ahead of England for the Dec. 10 date, and they have been in jail longer, putting them at the head of the line.

England remains in the Vigo County Jail without bail.
