An accident near Marshall, Illinois claims the life of a Wabash Valley man.  24 year old Jason Jerger of Marshall lost control of his vehicle on Route 1 Monday night.  His vehicle was struck by another car when it slid into oncoming traffic according to Illinois State Police.  Officials say that Jerger died at the scene.  They have not said if road conditions played a role in the fatal accident.
