Unemployment fell in 11 of 12 Illinois cities tracked by the Illinois Department of Employment Security monthly survey. The exception was Decatur, where unemployment rose to 10.2 percent in November from 9.8 percent a year ago.

Unemployment last month was lowest in Bloomington-Normal, 6.1 percent, and was highest in Rockford, 10.5 percent.

Champaign-Urbana dropped to 7.2 from  7.8 Danville was down a tenth to 9.8 from  9.9
