Vigo County Commissioners have approved a memorial for some first responders to be placed on the court house ground.

The memorial will be on the east side of the courthouse near the veteran’s memorial plaza. Before anything is built commissioners want to review a rendering of any proposed memorial for the site. Before anything is built a fundraising campaign will be held and the design of the memorial will depend on how much money is raised.
