Justin Bieber will ring in 2013 on ABC-TV, appearing on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest . And in the new year, a sitcom inspired by his life may be coming to the network.
TV Guide reports that the show was originally talked about last year, then put on hold. Now, TV Guide says, the idea has been revived and is under consideration for next season. The show would be based on Justin's home life before he became a worldwide superstar, and focus on a future singer's "awkward teenage years and his unorthodox family." Justin himself would executive produce the show, along with manager Scooter Braun .
It's not clear whether Justin would actually appear on the show, though he's acted on TV before, appearing in a few episodes of CSI and some Saturday Night Live comedy sketches . He also hosted the revival of Punk'd and had his own NBC special, Justin Bieber: All Around the World.
