Following the school shooting in Connecticut, the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department has announced that deputies will immediately begin foot patrols inside of the county middle and elementary schools on a daily basis.

Police are already on site daily at the three Vigo County high schools.

Reserve Deputies be present at all county middle and elementary schools at the start of the school day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
