21 year old Blackie Veach of Charleston has been arrested and is being charged with attempted first degree murder and aggravated battery.
Police reports say he attacked two people along West Locust Street just after 9 p.m., stabbing them both in the throat.
The victims were taken to the hospital and are both expected to survive their attack.
